Hector was no stranger to making enemies, in the prime of his life he was a successful herb merchant and had made some very dangerous foes. As the Overlord's accountant however he didn't think the acquisition of such enemies would be nearly as common.
He was wrong.
Hector was always looking to cut costs for superfluous expenses and when he found Sagitar's budget was through the roof( for goodness knows what) he sliced her funding back tenfold. After doing some research into the matter he realized a good chunk of her budget had been dedicated to the acquisition of laboratory grade animals. Many of which their corpses had been expertly disposed of once their usefulness had passed.
Hector feared for Bane's wrath when she would invariably find out about the continual slaughter Sagitar subjected her victims too. The level to which she had been experimenting and judging by what little remained of thier corpses, she was fast making a slaughter house look like a petting zoo.
Sagitar was not qualified to be in Research and Development, but it was a position she coveted highly as she was very certain she could hone her knowledge on her first hand encounters with torture and pain if only given half a chance to do so. Denied this she turned toward doing her own research using the Dungeon's budget to do so.
Sagitar was not happy when she found out her funding had been cut and with little effort she has ambushed the poor elf in a corridor using magic crystals to subdue him. When the magic plauged elf awoke he found himself barely able to move, his front panel of his uniform removed and the lapels splayed, blood ooozed from a fresn incision in his torso and a fresh scapel of a cruel seratted design loomed over him. He'd woken up in the middle of her performing surgery on him, and she made no attempt to sedate him again. He cried out in a feeble attempt at a scream but it barely was audible above a pitiful wimper.
"I hear you have the liver of a dragon, Mr. Fen... I'd like to get a sample before you destroy it further with your nasty habit..." She raised the scalpel and grinned viciously. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Fox and his heart leapt as she recoiled in horror at the sight before her.
"F...fox" he managed to choke out, but the oblivious Thylacine only grinned more wickedly upon her hapless victim.
"She can't hear you down here, Hector."
"The HELL I CAN'T!"
