Furries not in fursuits: "Lol. Idiot trolls. Don't realize we've got them surrounded."

Actually at heroes con only other furries knew I was a furry and would address me as one. Most of the time I was called either panther man or cat man until they saw my name badge.

The only problem is the comic character, otherwise they probably would've recognized you as a furry.

I consider that as a bonus actually! Whereas Blacksad is a copywrited character I can't say that I am connected with him out of respect and legality towards the original author. But if people think I am, I wasn't going to correct them.
And as for the rest of the lot I'll bet you a lot of them did know I was a furry but chose not to say anything, plus the kids loved the suit so that made the parents like it too.

I find it hard to believe most of the people at a comic con didn't know a furry when they saw one. xD You had kids adoring you, I had them afraid of me because of the fangs. >.>

Well I'm glad no one picked any drama with you while you were there. :)

I didn't think anyone would since it's a con and there are rules about that sort of thing, but it's also not a furry con so you never know what kind of people might be attending.

Indeed, my handler is tougher than he looks though and was ready to step in if the situation called for it though. So I was never worried.

Good good. :) Glad you even had a handler. Some furs are gutsy enough to get themselves dressed up and walk around without one.
