All 10 of my darling vinyl faced treasures! This is my collection of vintage stuffed animals. Most of these are from the 50-60s.
I think its neat to see furry art expressed in other eras.

Udderly scary.
But in all honesty that one is probably worth the most money. I'd never sell her but I just saw this one go for close to 400$

I've seen single Rushtons sell for 1000$ and more. Its kinda nuts.

I'm glad you don't get the heebie jeebies from them. XD
I realize they are a little scary but some people like me just find em precious.
Does your skunk look anything like this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-RUS.....item3382c465ba
If you can remember to take pics I would love to see it. :D

We picked him up at a garage sale at some point a couple years ago. My mom was just laughing at him and thought he was neat and a little weird so I guess we just bought him.
I just cleaned him off the other day when we did Spring Cleaning, that shelf gets dusty. xD But I'll tell her he's top notch in the world of creepy vinyl faced toys.
And augh no problem I love talking weird things with people who appreciate them. :]

Did you know that there's an ebay-style auction site run by a Goodwill? I see a lot of neat vintage toys on there, sometimes these type of dolls as well! http://www.shopgoodwill.com/

Very cool! It is interesting to see how far stuffed animals have come in their years. And even electronic stuffed animals. Very nifty group I like them alot! Only old one I have is a vintage Bambi lol. Would love to find those Lambs and Cows though. That dachshund is adorable too lol thanks for sharing! Oh another website you should check out is one called Black Market Antiques they have all sorts of neat Toys as well as other vintage goods of awesomeness http://www.blackmarketantiques.com/
I know! They loved hobos, I specifically remember my grandmother having those little statues of drunken clown hobos, normally hanging off a light post with a bottle of whine or something...if you know vintage you must of seen or even have one already...there were paintings made to.
Also what is a hells kitchen flea market? And does it involve Gordon Ramsey?

The cleaner of the two I have the box for. Plus she has this great crank voicebox that is garbled and even creepier because it recites rock a bye baby. She was brand new with the protective plastic still on her face. When I took it off her whole face hads a Vaseline like substance coating it. I think it was to make the vinyl that much more shiny when first unwrapped. XuX
I'm so into vintage toys like these. Cause I mean...just look at them. They ARE furry art. I'm really into the idea of antiques too. The fact that these things have been places and seen things.
Every good mom knows you give babies what they want, or suffer the consequences. XP

For sure! Old toys have a character and quirks you don't find on the modern counterparts. I have this dachshund from when I was a baby and I always liked the weightiness and feel to it, like how beanie babies have that bean feel? But it was really crunchy and hard to explain. I ended up reading about it online and it was stuffed with nut husks! Nut husks??? I love the aesthetics of old toys, just so different and the history of that toy is so intriguing, :>
