Well, perhaps we'll see it someday!
Just a quick bit of filler, a mock-up of what The Hunters might look like if it ever hit the printing press.
A little bit of trivia to pad things out:
The Hunters is the first book I managed to write to completion, but the third book I took a serious stab at. My first book had the working title of Blood Suckers and Hairballs. Taking place in New York, it followed the life of a newly fuzzed-up werewolf in an ongoing battle between werewolves and vampires.
And this was written back in the 90s, long before the werewolf/vampire thing was cool...
The one thing I noticed while I edited The Hunters was just how similar the two books were. While the plot lines were completely different, all three main characters were near identical.
BaH had a hapless young werewolf named Chris who was fighting to save the world from the vampires...
His new best friend was a chubby older wolf named Biggs who spoke in a Scottish accent and had more than a few secrets to hide (plus a fear of water)...
And not far into the story they save a mortal named Diana who helps them interact with the 'real' world.
Nope, The Hunters doesn't sound like that at all!
The artwork for the book is by the awesome
