Eggman thinks that because a toddler is a clone of himself, that the kid must automatically must be a genius like himself. Which makes him think it's peachy to let a small toddler like Christopher play around with various weapon launching keyboards. Cue a scene involving badniks trying to dodge getting shot or blown to pieces. Then Eggman will go and blame his own robots and mecha for the mess, instead of actually taking responsibility for it.
