So I've done it, I've finally broke down and created a pony character. I am surprised that I cannot seem to find 'pony' in FA's species list. I settled for 'horse' as close enough.

But yes, new pony character. I was listening to music and got an urge and couldn't not draw her.

Dawnfire is energetic and optimistic. Sure, sometimes things suck, but every night ends in a new dawn. She's hope and passion and eagerness.



If I drag out the raw honesty, she's what I wish I could shove into the hole I have in my heart, where I've been eaten away by depression and anxiety. Sadly, one cannot find the shattered pieces of hope merely by wishing you had them, let alone start gluing them back together again. If it's even possible for me to recover, it's going to be a long, slow slog of medication and therapy.

And... That's more than enough honesty for now. Let's just throw a blanket over the rest of that and pretend it's an art installation. Sound good? Good.
