Me playing around. Some speedpainting practice done while waiting for my husband to get home so we can go to the Comic Book store.

While most wildlife of Yor'Alcona wouldn't hesitate to eat the face off of any life form stupid enough to get too close, they generally leave the sentient Alconians that they share their homeworld with alone. However, there are few places that even the Alconians fear to tread.

The Northern deserts are among them.

More Lovecraftian based monster design. These things are based on Lovecraft's Dhole species. Although I do know that giant desert sandworms exist in Dune, however, I have never seen the movie so I can't really make a comparison.
