It's been a few years (decades) since I last took gymnastics, but if I recall, the balance beam is about half that width, yes? And this isn't meant as any kind of insult to Neko-Maya's piece, just wanting to satisfy my own curiosity.
The pic itself is wonderful, Neko pulled off the sense of motion and balance very well. And the colors are simply gorgeous.
