Full-view if there's a black background! (It's supposed to be transparent)

Personal character named Sheeka. She's an aardwolf with fur markings inspired by chocolate cake :P

A quick painting I did today because I realized I didn't have any images of my own character posted. So here she is. Why an aardwolf? Because I find that many of the qualities I see in them are what I see in myself.

It took me a long time to design this character and this is the first time I've painted her with detailed fur, so I hope it looks okay. Some anatomical differences are on purpose because I decided to fit her into a fantasy world I created for a story I was writing (check out my my gallery for Reja, who is also a part of that story: www.furaffinity.net/view/10643744/ ). For example, she has slit-pupils and her tail is shorter because the end of it was ripped off. Her story will slowly expand as I paint her.
