The oldest dog I've ever met: eighteen years old. She's some kind of lab mix, and I swear, the first time I saw her, I would never forget that face...such a face of wisdom, dignity...all the kindness of a sweet old lady. And she doesn't seem to be ready to die, as many old dogs do when they finally hit their twilight. She's slow, yes, and a little stiff, but not in pain. Such a beautiful dog.
