This is just how I set up bodies. I thought it would help out some people. These are like, just the under sketch to a drawing. The important thing about these sketches are that they are fast. You are just getting out what is in you head. I draw them rather small too maybe a bit bigger then what you see here. Then I would tweak it for proportions. Studying the human body (skeletal, muscular and from real life) will help you make good details and anatomy.
after I have lined out this. I then add all the clothes, face, whatever to it. I do that loosely too if people have seen my sketches. They are quite crappy. I spend more energy on the final product that people see.

So there you have it. This is my method. There are lots out there, try lots of ways to see what best works for you. =3
