I do agree. The only thing really cartoony on him is the smile.

Holy shit! You're alive. I was kinda worried that your eye condition forced you to be pinned in darkly lit areas, like NOT your studio. I'm taking a bunch of painting classes this time around. I'd like to come by, but I don't want to cock block your brother's much-needed work area.
Also,  berbalang does this plein air painting session one Saturday per month at some fucking awesome spot. I know you don't really paint, but it is a nice chance to go hike, or sit and draw. If your eyes are in such a condition that DOES let you to handle long hours of daylight, you ought to tag along.

I really like the teeth - very nice rhythm there. And good work on the wrinkles and surface detail - they do look reptile somehow.
I imagine the eyes to be very creepy... very. I don't know why, but to me it looks like the eyes would be a good focal point for this sculpture. Yet I don't know what your plans for it are, probably you have a better idea.
