The three Atelier (French for "workshop") games I own, from left to right: Atelier Totori, Atelier Meruru, and Atelier Ayesha.
These are JRPGs which synthesize traditional RPG elements like travel and combat with a splendid alchemy system. Tons of fun.
I was literally addicted to Atelier Meruru for a few days. I'm okay now, though. I'm okay.
Atelier Ayesha doesn't have the same magic, IMO. It's still pretty nice though. Atelier Totori started things for me, despite it being the second game in the trilogy (the trilogy of Atelier Rorona/Totori/Meruru; all of these are in the same universe, and Atelier Ayesha starts anew), and while I think I like Meruru better, it'll always be irreplaceable.
No I'm not attached to my games fuck you go away who asked you
These games are developed by Gust, which has been purchased by Koei Tecmo (all releases subsequent to Atelier Totori are affiliated with KT in some way). They're up to like... 14? Been around since the PlayStation days.
Anyway enough about me how have you guys been doing
