This was inspired one day when I was driving home from my late class sometime in late April or May...The tide was out and the sun was super bright and intense, making the muddy bay floor look super shiny, and the small strip of water you could still see off in the distance glittered beautifully. My first thought was "I could TOTALLY paint that!"...So I did! This sat around as a sketch for the longest time, but it's finally done! =D
Acrylic on 8"x11" canvasboard. The bay water is glitter, and the muddy parts are metallic-y paints. =D
