Well the Liger got listening to some old CDs today and well I finally went and sketched up an Indogene character for Defiance. ^^
Tos Nebbin sighed as he walked to the edge of town. The clouds hung heavy in the air and Tos could feel the humidity in the cool air. It would rain soon he thought to himself as he wondered out eyes drifting across the rows of stone markers sticking out of the ground. Grave markers done in old Earth Traditional. Or close enough to it. Tos wondered through the rows reading off the names on each one reflexively. Tos walked out here this same day every year since there was a Marker. It never got any easier as the weight of the crystal pendent in his hand seemed to grow though of course stayed the same. Tos stopped and heaved a sigh as he stood before the grave. The script on the stone in Indojisnen read "Cen Nebbin. Beloved Brother. A Light in the Darkest Night. Fallen with the Arks but never Forgotten." As Tos read the words it seemed the sky itself gave way to his emotions as the rain slowly started to fall as tears which Tos himself barely kept at bay. They'd come so far. Earth was to be their new home. The place where Cen would achieve so much. Where Tos would watch his brother grow. Instead it became his resting place. Tos gripped the pendent tighter in his hand blaming himself. "If he'd been down on the planet with you he'd still be here!" His own voice screamed in his head. He'd left Cen on the Arks. The humans were still fairly hostile at the time. He thought Cen would be safe on them. Tos had searched Ark wreckage at every chance looking for his brother's remains. But never found anything. The grave was empty like so many others in the field. An empty grave daring him to hope even though his mind told him it was a fool's hope. Toss looked up tothe sky and took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He concentrated on an implant and broadcast to the sky. "I miss you Cen." Before his feet slowly found movement again and he began walked back out of the field. As much as he might have wanted some days to just lay down and give up he still had a life ahead of him. Friends. And a responsibility to keep Cen's memory alive at least. And despite all reason he still had a fool's hope.
Well Hope you guys liked the pic and the lil story. ^^

Indogene are fairly rational and science minded. Given Ben's and Dr. Yewll's actions it seems they can be sentimental and well the good Doctor there seems to exude pissed off and frustrated well enough emotion wise. So I don't think that this is out of the question. Remember Ben's actions in betraying the town were to keep his own family safe and he was willing to die for that. Not to mention a dieing wish that the Mayor be told he's sorry.
