A small park I had found on Google Maps.
And friend and I decided to seek it out and explore there.
Not sure what happened here though. Even after asking locals, a few of the local law enforcement, and co-workers, nobody even knew the place existed.
I'm assuming the building either caught fire, and something that was on the inside exploded causing debris from the building to be found yards and yards away from the actual site, or a tornado hit there. Probably the latter, but who knows.
It goes with the dump site that we found further into the 'park', which was, what I believe, to be from the 50's-60's. Judging solely from the trash, consisting of soda cans, metal gas cans, tires, and other miscellaneous items.
Pretty neat place though, but we ditched after hearing a low growl.
I noticed something rather large lived around this area, judging from tracks, drag marks in the leaves, and possibly a cave even further in. Would rather not be attacked by a bear, being armed only with a small shovel and pocket knife. :D
