That looks like an old 3 series engine.

A friend of mine has a 1987 3 series and that's a carburetor. This could be out of an E21 or an early E30 3 series.

It looks like the same one they put in the E21 as it's belt driven. That would make it over 30 years old.

Now was it just a start-up or did you have to do some work to it before it would beacuse if you got a 25 year old motor to just start that really is awesome for that boat

we made a start up and next week we want to let it run for 15-20 minutes

Yeah, that is often the deciding factor for a LOT of people who have some kind of big item and when they have no time to put into it and it just sits forever they find it is better to let it go to someone who actually does have the tome for it and could appreciate it as is >.>

Well if he keeps trying I am sure he will eventually find someone to buy it but it is still a nice boat and would be nice if he did not but still it is his choice to sell it still unfortunately <.<
