I´ve seen it and I have to admit, it was kind of logical from my point of view, you must count in the massive suprise and the fact that King Robb and his host were outnumbers. From what I saw have many of them not even been armed at that moment.

Well my main question was my the mother did not try to take that knife to the lord she was easly within reach of him. Yet instead she grabs the girl:< And if I remember right Robs wife was not there in the book as she had not been feeling well so was left at another castle.... Then there is the part about why the Starks a family very into signs and the old religion ignored the warnings of their dire wolf.

But yes it followed fairly well other then the placement of the girl his mom grabs, she should of been farther into the room hiding under a different table then the lords then it would of seemed more logical to me to grab her instead of the lord himself.

Robbs original Wife, Jeyne Westerling remained at Riverrun and in the books was it not a daughter of Walder that was grabbed by Catelyn Stark, but one of his Sons. And as for why she did not grab Walder himself, jugding the Freys would it have been very clear that the Sons would have killed their Father to finally get rid of the old Weasel and to climb the Throne of the House themselfes. Because his heirs basically waited for a long time, I mean his oldest was 60 years old, Walder himself is over 90 years old (at least in the books)
