It's inspired by Sonata Arcticas song "Flag in the Ground", which tells the story of a young father in the time of the discovery of America, which leaves his family in Great Britain in order to ship to Boston and build up a new and much better life for his child and wife. She sends him the letter you can read above, while he's holding a locke of her hair in his hand, thinking about his family and missing them.
