So, I've had this Ironman armor for quite some time and never had a chance to use it. After Ironman 3 came out, my friend's son has been obsessed with MK. 42 for some reason and I was asked if I had an Ironman armor for Poser.
Known as ArmourZ (or Y on the download page *shrugs*), it's an armor set for Mike3, but it works just as well all by itself. At first I thought "I'll just add some extra gold to the suit" and realized the texture zones weren't nearly as plentiful as I had hoped.
I went in and did a lot of texture zone work, since most of the gold on the chest, abdomen, arms, and legs would not have been possible unless I added some new zones. As I briefly studied images of Mk. 42, I noticed that the color scheme was almost opposite of the other versions after Mk. 2. That made the new texture zones interesting and while it's not a perfect match, it will certainly do the job, then add in some post effects for glows and you have a shiny armor!

yeah, I know they're technically power armor, buuuuut, the Mk.42 can act autonomously, so in some cases it could be considered a robot. Hell, at the end of IM3, all of his suits were able to carry out orders without Stark directly controlling them, which in fact is the very definition of a robot. :P
I think the reason he has fourty two is because in the other canons, his Mark V (the one in Avengers) was a sort of template armor, that could have specialty gear attached to it, loaded before launch, or launched as a separate module. Space and Hulk Buster armors were entirely different builds.
Its pretty much the plot for Iron Man 3 because years later Tony has a wife so he must juggle being a superhero or husband just like Mr. Incredible had to. While Tony Starks and Mr. Incredibles fans were plotting their revenge on both of them and watch both movies and youll see.
Here watch this video it explains it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUYW0JyzydA
