Most of them don't die directly. Their deaths are merely implied (e.g. Rose's symbolic 'death,' Donna forgetting, Ginnie dying/regenerating, and the gravestone of the Ponds).

Also, if you count Clara's 1 1/2 deaths and Oswin's death (Clara's 1/2 death being diving into the Doctor's timestream; also, this doesn't include the thousands of implied Clara deaths), then throw those into the list as well.


Also, if you're talking about the deaths of the side characters, then yes. There is a LOT of death in Doctor Who, but it's a great show.

I just hope they never let George R. R. Martin on the show as a guest writer. For that matter, I hope he never shows up on any show as a guest writer.
