A character of mine, Kohaku. Born at around year 1100, he grew up as a samurai, but struck a deal with a demon, granting him immortality as long as he collected souls, granting him half the life of what they would have lived, had faith not been so unkind. In modern days, he wears an interface unit to compensate for his lack of ballistic knowledge.
