by steal I mean use as reference and inspiration, but yeah, I'm surprised someone hasn't stolen your art yet and pretended it was theirs. I love how your armoured suits and guns look (they're the kinda designs that have gone through my head, even before Imet you) but I've always had a lot of trouble pinning them to paper.
XD I KNOW what you meant by stealing ;3 Glad you like me stuffins so much though ^^
Things I usually reference from are movie concept works or just straight from the movie watching/game playing...pinning things to paper wont work on the first go, so you just sketch up many versions and take the one that comes closest to what you were imagining ^^

thats whay I do yeah, although I did enjoy one alien race I doodled a lot of, their weapons were specifically drawn once, generally I started from one point (barrel, trigger or clip depending on what kind of weapon) and they wer all made of supporting, curved parts. some came out horribly, but a fair number of them looked almost organic in design. it was fun, but not effective for any angled veiws...
anyway, I still say you should get back on one of your messanger accounts I have, or give me your new one (and maybe even oC with me again T-T)

Very true. I guess the skin tight suits can be saved for urban situations, or in some cases for assassination purposes.
Bulky ones for hot zones. For protection. :3
This is making me want to design some. But I'm already swamped with ideas I need to get done. *puts it on his list* Take that, procrastination!

Indeed, though the electronics inside it require some space. It has other advantages though, like not needing cooling vents for the accelerator coils like the standard guard rifle and some other things ^^
And I think that might be because it's hexagonal, which is a very important and often used shape in things concerning the si'itians. Thanks though ^^

So you're saying the rifle has some means of dissipating its heat more slowly than simply venting it to the outside air, presumably so as not to compromise the user's low thermal visibility? Nice, although one wonders how.
I always liked the Tau shoulder pads, anyway. They had a good functional-but-not-too-bulky look to them. And, of course, hexagons just have a certain appeal.

Heh, I might get toexplaining all of the technologies some day...at least to a certain extent, none of them would truly work the way I imagine them anyway ;3
Yeah, the small ones were neat and the big one on the other arm was a nice contrast, though that was technically octagonal, but it fits the design
