Reuben now has to explain the true meaning on "fishing" to the philistinic Border Collie
So yeah, really happy with this strip to be honest - I think it's probably one of the best looking one's of the new colour strips, is pretty funny on it's own, and is the closest thing I've got to "Ozy and Millie" style humour in a long while :D

LOL That is SO true, man. XD I honestly never understood why you only fish for the heck of it if you're just going to throw the fish back in the water. I might eat fish and meat - but that is animal abuse to me. :P Only reason it seems like it's okay is because "everyone is doing it".
Either way, I liked this comic. :3

Yeah, it's something I've never really understood. Someone once described it to me as "like hunting deer with paintballs" but I'm pretty sure that'd be considered abuse....I guess people just assume fish don't have feelings or something.
Glad you liked the comic though :D

Yeah, paintballs on a deer... that would be pretty cruel. :P But yeah, people really need to be more considerate. It's like when I see how poorly they treat animals they will butcher and make food of for stores. Vegans and vegetarians uses this as a cheap argument for us to stop eat meat - but it obviously just boils down to that we should treat and take care of our animals better than we do.
You're welcome! :D

Yeah, I eat meat but I always try to go for free range stuff even though it costs more in the long run - I just feel better eating the animal knowing it likely wasn't abused. I've got no problem with rearing animals for food, but the lack of respect people show for some of them really grates on me some times.
