
So there where two things I wanted to try with this pic. One I wanted to only use the pallet of colors you would see in a classic GameBoy game. Second I wanted to ink this with a calligraphy brush, just to try some thing different.
I had to fight the urge to use white to make brighter highlights, maybe next time I will add some to see how it looks. I'm not totally sold on the calligraphy brush, it doesn't look bad but i think i have to use it for the right pictures.

When I was little, I wondered why people said the Game Boy was black and white when it was obviously black and pea green.
I really wish GB games on the 3DS VC would have an option for a pea green filter. Also Super Game Boy support. But Nintendo doesn't seem to care about either. *cry*

there is a filter to play the games with a pea green filter, the colors are way more saturated then what i did here. All you do is when you load the GB game and your playing you hold the L and R triggers at the same time and an Icon will appear and tell you to press Y, and that changes the color
