Earnest, when he was still somewhat young, got word of a ruin somewhere in the Brazilian jungles. He and Valeria, his lovely mouse sidekick, went directly to the ruins, which they learned from some of the locals was a shrine to one "Boni Tazako", a fertility goddess worshipped by many of the jungle-dwelling people. Upon entering the ruins, they found that for once, it was lacking in traps, and that there was a large casket right in the middle of the main room. Earnest and Valeria, not being one to miss the chance to find a mummy or an artifact to report, cracked open the casket... and instead of a mummy or priceless treasures, they found a beautiful woman inside, having just woken up at the moment Earnest opened it.
As it turned out, the casket was an enchanted reshaping chamber, meant to shape Boni Tazako's most loyal followers into her own image. The woman inside of this reshaping chamber was known as Leaty, and upon making eye contact with Earnest, the two instantly fell for each other.
Valeria: ...Earnest... is... is that a woman? o_O
Earnest: *blushing HARD as he looks at Leaty* Boy IS she... <3
Leaty: *blinks a couple of times, blushing and staring at Earnest* Who are you...? And how did you find me?
Earnest: ...I know not who you are nor how I came to find you... but let me just say... *grins wide and winks* Hi. <3
Valeria: Really? You're hitting on a coffin girl? Do you really think she's going to--
Leaty: *smile and bats her eyes at Earnest* Hi~ <3
Valeria: *facefault* GAH!!!
