Just a quick drawing for a very good friend of mine. The artwork shows his character, the young wolf “Lizco”… taking a walk along the beach at sunset.
Yeah... this is a rather young, normal body this time. It's something else for a change, I suppose.
In fact, this artwork itself is NOT new… I just did a complete new version of it. Every stroke and line is new and fresh! ^^
I did this mostly, because… I haven’t really paid attention to my friend lately and didn’t share some time with him, when I had the chance. Furthermore, the first version of his character was a very… quick and rather dull rendering… with little ambition or love on my part. Sorry for that, buddy.
Now, I wanted to make it better! Enjoy this freshly NEW version of your wolf character “Lizco”!

Wow man, that's such a nice thing to do for someone, and I'm sure they're lucky to have you as a friend. I wish more people in life were that thoughtful, and maybe it wouldn't be so hard to get long (reminds me of a Depeche Mode song, actually). Can you guess which one? lol

Um, I didn't find that crappy at all. Granted, it's a bit more flat in colors, but the cartoon look is okay. Honestly, none of your work is ever crappy, just more simple or more complex depending on how long you spent on it and what kind of media you use. If you wanna see crappy, look at my old attempt at drawing my dragon... lol. Now thats craptastic! XD
Ok, if I wouldn´t know you, I would think that you´re a furry artist by watching your furry drawings XD I can see you´re making much more progress with them, especually with the face expression. Because, well, I don´t see something that says "hey this is a pic maded by Patrick" The eyes looks different, the shape of the head, and the rest of the details
The character in general looks completely different from what you usually do, I´m really amazed by such results man, really ^ ^ I don´t know what else to say XD but that face! That face is what caught my attention because definitly I don´t see something to say that you draw it :D Is just AMAZING!!!

Yeah, in fact... there are a LOT "furry guys" in my gallery right now! XD BUT I don't mind... I still am the "master of scales", har har har! XD

And yepp, the younger, thinner body... was also a welcome change. THough I prefer a bit more muscles. XD

Hahah, the fur community is taking you over little by little XD that´s an interesting way to say it heh ^ ^
But aha, no matter how many furry guys you draw, you´re still my number one master of scales I ever met ;D
And yeah, the face is something different, and I was amazed that you dare to change your usual style for this occasion :D something new and it´s more effective!
And hey, perhaps you prefer more a bit more muscular, but this is a prove that you can adapt any kind of body in your style, well, as far as I remember, you haven´t draw a guy with a big belly XD and no, it doesn´t count that reptile guy with brown redish scales and some feathers that I think is a seller, is a mix with the belly and a bit muscular, but you know what I mean XD

I really like how well you got the fur to look, and nice to see actually this is rather an "updated" version so theres something to compare ^^ Only thing I would say is from creative aspect, I still think that sunglasses for anthros, depending now of species should have different style of glasses handles, "arms". Someway maybe going still behind ears but thats all for experimenting fun and how to make glasses for anthros look good... Buut easy way out of it of course is to make HAIR hide the handles ^^
