This is the last we saw of Mario before making the switch to the GameCube in 2002. This brings to mind personal memories of middle school and how much I wanted to leave the school each day just to play Paper Mario. And here's the song that comes to mind.

Boy, it sure seemed like the sun shone a bit brighter on all of us back then. I almost feel like the year this game was released was a line of demarcation between a gorgeous past and the present we now live in. It's all because of this.
