I was asked to do a series of six images representing six different World War 2 Allied powers. The commissioner has plans to reproduce these images on an actual aircraft, so you may see them in the sky someday! ^_^
Great Britiain had to get very creative during WWII to fight off the advances of Nazi Germany. One of their great engineering achievements was the Spitfire fighter plane, which became an iconic sign of England's fighting spirit.
