how do you do your coloring, do you keep your different colors in different layers?

i keep 1 layer for flat colors and a 2nd for shading

one more question. it looks like you dont use full opacity when you color. im not asking for a number. but is it easier for you to color with that setting lower?

for the flat 1st layer i use full opacity, for the 2nd i do mess around with the opacity,

sounds cool. i try putting the flow down. its an odd tool, but i have the sturdy hand to color the entire limb lets say. but i get a bit impatiant. so i usually color over the limb neatly. and erase any mistakes.
