Three Times is Policy (Propaganda Blues)
This piece is more of a didactic and heavy-handed, and rather clumsy Jeremiad, but it rattled around in my head all day at work yesterday, so I needed to open the safety valve and let it come out.
And to continue with the Biblical references, somewhere along the line, most of us have changed teams from Jacob to Esau...
Likewise, I have taken obvious inspiration from (and paraphrased) Ian Fleming from "You only Live Twice", specifically the quote: "Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence; three times is enemy action."
Various others over the years have refined this particular maxim into: "Once is chance, twice is happenstance, and three times is policy".

Thank you. I almost worked in some references to the Vanity Fair from Pilgrim's Progress, but that was the tipping point, where I knew it had become too heavy-handed, and I had overstated my point.
With regards to the phrasing, I know I need to tweak it a bit more. I'll see how things look later today when I have a bit more time.

Thank you, and I know a couple parts still seem a little counter-intuitive with regards to flow, but it is possible to read it smoothly.
The most challenging phrase is: we need to put a microchip in your right hand or forehead.
If you read those two lines at a faster, staccato clip, they fit in just fine. :)
