With great power... comes great need to take nap. Wake me up later. Zzzzz...
It was a relatively quiet day for Manny as he walked through the mountains. The birds were singing, the sky a lovely blue, and the wind going flowing against his fur. He smiled at the sight of it all when he yawned, making him stretch his arms up into the air. He was indeed tired, probably from walking through the mountains all morning. So he looked for a clearing and saw a city in the distance smiling as he flexed his toes into the dirt. It was such a nice view to see before he would nap, so the blue wolf layed down, his arms behind his back, pushing his legs forward, and quickly fell into a deep nap.
And in the midst of that nap, Manny had a bit of a dream, where he was bigger than practically everything in the world, where he could see all the little cities dotting the landscape, and see how his body was quite literally pushing away the landscape under him, the land morphing under his weight, and he smiled at that fact, falling into an even deeper sleep. But little to everyone else's knowledge, like those in Luftstal City, Manny was actually a size-shifter and he changed sizes every once in a while. But this time was different. In his dream he kicked little specks of cities away with his feet, only to push his feet down on the city below getting thousands of little buildings, cars, and other things on his feet, outside of the dream. His body sparked from the growth, his clothes were long gone, and the city began to blare sirens, yet that only fell on Manny's sleepy yellow ears.
He eventually stopped growing, but the damage was too great as his body was quite literally the size of the city itself, his feet already destroying about a quarter of the city, and his tail wagged, causing a huge updraft of wind allowing his sparks to travel further, obliterating buildings and other things while he slept away.
It wasn't until a few hours later that Manny woke up, wondering where in the world he was. Wasn't he just sleeping in the clearing under the mountains? So he looked forward on himself, realizing he was completely nude and wondered whether someone stole his clothes before he lifted up his head more realizing that he had grown. And without a thought, he smirked, laughing at himself for what he did and what he caused. So he moved himself forward, with a grin on his face, and many ideas going through his head while his body sparked in electric glee.
So remember kids, take a power nap every once in a while. You'll feel wonderful when you wake up.
I got this amazing piece of work from the awesome
tyrnn. At the time, he was trying to help the Kickstarter for Kaiju Combat, a game that was supposed to include characters from around FA, one of them being Duncan the giant green kangaroo. I've always admired Tyrnn's work, how he can quickly draw details for any macro scene while also simultaneously writing a very good comic on the side called Boomer Express, you should check it out!
Anyway Tyrnn is a great friend, I haven't talked much with him recently but I know that he has a talent to succeed at whatever is thrown at him, and he manages to do it with such amazing results! So check his work out at some point!
