alkora gave me a link to a neat little tutorial on how to color with markers and I needed something to try it out on. Paging back through my sketchbook, I found the inks I did of this picture and decided it would work for a test run on the techniques I'd learned.

;D what can I say? I love my Kiuma girl, and I love doing art of her. Plus, I had the perfect set of markers to do her red and cream parts.

:< ignore the smudges on the lineart... I tried to erase my pencils and found out my ink wasn't quite dry enough. Also ignore where I went over the lines. xD; I'm a huge mess when I do traditional art, and it rarely comes out perfect. Its why I work a lot in photoshop to remove my little mistakes.

This has little editing in photoshop, beyond upping the contrast (scanning washed it out) and erasing a little of the markers that had gone over the lines into the white background.

I need more practice, obviously, but whatchu guys think? Should I do more marker pics?
