I'm going to work on this whole problem I have with drawing realistic + anthro but coming out with uncanny valley results by going over my Gossips painting. My goal is to achieve some sort of 'realistic' furry art without it looking like it belongs in the uncanny valley. PLZ HALP. No, seriously, critique. You won't hurt my feelings.

I feel like the cat lady's expression is what's getting to me the most. Her expression is a lot more muted than her human counterpart. It's giving her a more human with a mask on rather than that's her face look.
