I like the idea behind this. The notes from a mysterious, possibly powerful, individual is pretty cool!

To be honest, I felt this chapter could've done some more world building before heading into the meat of the story (the gun shot). I'd like to know why humans despise anthros so much? Are there "anthro-sympathizers"? Though when to get to the "good stuff" and when to "take time to smell the roses" when it comes to pacing can be hard for a writer to gauge.

(lol) I saw the date on this story, but I figured I still had time to lend you some constructive criticism. As for not feeling up to snuff, that's okay. I'm not considered to be a professional -anything- yet. I feel the longer you work in a certain medium, the more you're bound to pick up on a trick-of-the-trade or two. Not like you have to be a writer now, or anything. haha :>
