In that context I guess I can understand how people might be unfriendly towards the concept of somebody being straight, but really I don't see why anyone should be so short-sighted though, if somebody prefers one specific thing you can't really force it upon others.

It was weird--they made ME feel like the outcast for being straight! I was like...role-reversal-what? XD I really don't mind them, they're probably just bitter because they are fighting for the thing I have already; sexual acceptance. :P
