For those who are curious, here is a brief synopsis of the Thundermoon Sects.
Rain Singer (Green Markings) – The backbone of the tribe, the Rain Singers are the builders, farmers and craft folk of the village. They provide the Thundermoon Shu’halo with food and shelter, ensuring the basic comfort for the entire village. Their markings resemble vines and flowers.
Cloud Walker (Blue Markings) – Scholars and diplomats, teachers and spiritualists, the Cloud Walkers seek to expand the collective knowledge of the entire tribe through their studies and teaching. Many Cloud Walkers serve as the Elders of the tribe, seeking to guide the Thundermoon toward spiritual and intellectual enlightenment. Their markings resemble clouds.
Storm Runner (Red Markings) – No village is invulnerable. The Storm Runners are the Thundermoon guardians, devoting their lives to protecting and securing the borders. When not patrolling the borders or scouting possible threats to the tribe, the Storm Runners often keep themselves busy with hunting or crafting weapons and armor. Their markings resemble storms.
Dawn Gazer (Orange Markings) – The future of any people is its children. The Dawn Gazers’ tasks include raising and birthing the young, acting as midwives and caretakers for the sick and feeble, and ensuring that the future of the Thundermoon tribe is one of health and strength. Their markings resemble the sun.
Lunar Herald (White Markings) – The ivory markings of the Lunar Herald is granted only to the leaders of the Thundermoon. Though no Thundermoon are originally painted in ivory dye, the coloration of the markings manifests itself through a sacred rite of passage, typically guided by the tribal elders in times of need. Their markings resemble the moon.

The Thundermoon Creed
The protection of the Horde is all but a façade. Tauren villages have been ransacked, burnt and looted without a shred of respect for the dead, and yet Hellscream’s vision would be to erect massive, imposing metal citadels upon what was once tranquil land, goading our enemies to attack and ravage what little land there is left after the Shattering.
Thrall’s Horde is dead. Much like when the impudent whelp of Hellscream cut down the great Chieftain Cairne Bloodhoof, the Horde that once stood for unity and honor now lies broken and lifeless beneath the crushing heel of a madman.
Taurajo is lost. Freewind Post burns. Mojache is overrun with refuges. Desolace has been “adapted” by the Cenarian Circle, taken by the arrogant elves and reshaped with unnatural energies from their Moon Well. The agonized cries of the decimated tribes of Stonetalon echo through the mountain ranges, their cries ignored by an unfeeling, uncaring Warchief who yearns for nothing but domination of lands and people he does not understand.
The cries of the Shu’halo shall not go unanswered any longer.
The Thundermoon Tribe shall protect the entirety of Kalimdor, drawing upon the anguish and despair forced upon the Shu’halo to forge a new path for our people. Our enemies are without number, our allies are without care or concern. We will shoulder the burden of protecting that which truly belongs to the Tauren.
We will fight with honor.
We will guide with patience.
We will endure.
We are Shu’halo.
We follow the Thundermoon.
Our fury knows no equal.
Ish’nealo porah.
