carnival invited me over to her place and we sat and drew shit because that's what we do. It's been ages since I drew for myself, so she plonked a piece of really nice paper in my hands and I drew my character, then she drew hers and we flit back and forth until this monstrosity came about. I threw it into Sai and splashed colours on it and bam.

Not gonna lie, lifted a couple of aesthetic techniques from neko-maya, namely the texture overlay and the white outlining in to bring out certain parts. Works a fucking charm.

Gonna use this to advertise during a comic event on Saturday. Hopefully will sell a butt-tonne more comix c:
