Admittedly, I kind of ran with this one. I was given freedom to work with a concept I thought up on my own based on the character, and had a lot of fun doing this. I love aquatic scenery and sharks/fish and painting water aahh. So nice to get to do this.

I'm not sure words can adequately convey how much I adore this! Maybe I'll just point to that viral video of the kid opening his Nintendo 64 as a stand-in representation of my emotional response to this.
Gosh this is just so perfect. The setting with the shadows of some sunken behemoth, the mysterious ambience of the lighting, the luminous locket slowly drifting into the murky depths below. You've managed to capture the vastness of the ocean within the frame which seems like a challenging thing to accomplish; there's a certain serenity with all those bubbles and particles evoking a star-filled night sky, but at the same time it's a subtly unsettling quiet like in a tomb.
And Lux! I love the way you've depicted her: that expression and pose with her cap floating upward in contrast to the locket. She's obsessed with magical objects too which makes her transfixion so fitting.
Thank you soooo much once again!
