History: Originally born on Cloudsdale, Autumn wind always had a fascination with the weather system and the factory where they produced the weather. As a young pony, Autumn often went on tours of the factory where his father, Thunder Spark, created storm clouds and his mother, Flurry, hoof designed snowflakes. It wasn’t until flight camp, when he learned about their power over weather, that he obtained his cutie mark, signifying his talents at shaping the weather to usher in a new season. Throughout his youth, Autumn Wind refined his talents, granting him better control over the atmosphere than many of his classmates. In addition, he has been able to achieve high speeds during flight, maxing out at mach 3 in his adulthood. After he had been accepted into the weather system, Autumn Wind left Cloudsdale and moved to Ponyville, where he would be able to see the results of his work through the vast wilderness they had.
One day, while flying over the Everfree Forest, Autumn Wind saw something strange down at the edge of the woods. Flying down, he found a little Manticore cub, seemingly hurt from an attack. Calming the beast, Autumn Wind took it to a nearby veterinarian, who treated his wounds and helped him recover. Since then, the manticore cub, now named Roary, has been living with Autumn Wind. He keeps the pegasi company and frequently tries to fly with him, but his wings are not yet developed enough.
