I feel kinda bad being the winning bidder (Thus far, still 2 hours to go.) because in the past I've been in your position, desperately wanting a one-of-a-kind piece at an auction but unable to afford it.
I really do kinda hope that Kacey sells prints of this one because it is a spectacular piece.

I have been almost begging her for a while to put a clean fox up for auction for a while :'( I didn't expect it to go this high LOL but congrats <3 take good care of it!
I will have one someday. Weather it be a commission or an auction i will have one from her <3

My problem is that anything I can think of is never even half as good as what some artists come up with.
Of course on the plus side, I live an otherwise frugal lifestyle so I can afford such indulgences. (Seriously, I paid less for my last car than the current bid.) I sometimes wonder if I'm gonna end up being that miser that's been hiding a mint Duesenberg in their garage for 50 years.

I have commissions done for Averious often (mainly digital but I snag a badge or mini commission from kacey whenever I get a chance), and one day I would love to have a large one from her. She is one of my all time favorite artists (and is one of the reasons I began commissioning and collecting art). I have been following her art since back in 05 before I joined the Marines. And her art, the realism and beauty, is pretty much what kept me sane lol. Gave me something to strive to get. Her works are essentially an escape from reality in a picture. Took my mind off the crap of the military (to include the loss of life ((Averious's eyes used to be both gold but one changed to blood red signifying the bloodshed he(I) saw)).
So, it is a dream of mine to have just one (would like more, but will be content with one) large piece for the centerpiece in my collection.
Wow I use a lot of parentheses =>.>=

Interesting. We all have our reasons for appreciating the art that we do.
I've been just a lurker for years and years. (Browsing for art SUCKED back on my 28.8 modem.) For whatever reason I've never really been able to get into fiction writing as an adult. Even as a kid I liked non-fiction when I found something that interested me. With the art I find interesting, there is a short story without words just within the picture itself that I find interesting. It's like a spark that lights the fire of my imagination.
Kind of odd for me right now, I've been around for years and years, but always as a lurker. (no idea how long, but given that I was using dialup it had to have been 2000 or so.) It's a new experience to engage in conversation with artists or others like me who follow them, kinda strange. Meh, I'll adjust.
/Don't worry about using parentheses, your English teacher isn't grading it.
