A clock I painted up for the AC art show! This is just the wooden face obviously, the actual clock mechanism and hands were put in after the photo was taken so just the art could be shown. The colors are a bit off on the photo, it looks much nicer IRL. Come check it out at AC next week if you're going!

Aw, we should have done ours at the same time (Mine: http://www.furaffinity.net/full/1025039/). They would have looked cute hanging together, because the way both snowies are oriented are quite complimentary to each other!
You both might want to consider doing a clock collaboration some day where each of your cats is circling the clock face in a Yin-Yang pattern: http://blog.pharmexec.com/wp-conten.....6/yin-yang.jpg
Would it be possible to purchase this off of you before you take it to AC? I live in Texas. AC is a no go for me. Then again, it's probably going to be a showpiece for you there, and as it'll draw interest, it will no doubt also sell. Thus you'll probably want it there with you. Take it with, but sell it to me now? *Ears perk.* What kind of price are you looking at for it?
The starting bid will be 100$, but to completely take it out of the show your offer would have to be considerably more, since unique stuff like this tends to do well. I've sold pieces before cons that got really tempting offers in the past though. Note me if you'd like to discuss it further (or maybe you could have a friend proxy bid for you? That would be even better!).
I'd not want to guess at what it then might go for. I can only wish you the best. Of course, you deserve as much as you can get. It's a beautiful piece. Being as I'm unable to be there, I can't make an offer that could top what bids might go for. So while I'd like to have it, I'll have to let this pass for now. It is an interesting idea, to have someone proxy bid, but I don't know anyone that's going to be at the con. I'm getting too old. Everyone I know is off living life and not going to cons much these days. I'll have to make an effort to be there myself one of these times. Then, perhaps if you've been inspired to continue making clocks like this, I'll get my chance. I thank you for your kind response, even if I cannot make an offer worth your while.
At a chain called "Omer Deserres" here in Quebec, so I doubt that would be much help. :( My bf told me the mechanisms can easily be bought on ebay though, but I don't know about the wood faces. If you buy them separately, be prepared to get some wood glue too, mine didn't match even though they were sold right next to each other at the store. With the glue instead of the other fastening method for the mechanism it works great though, and actually looks even better, the arrows aren't ridiculously raised off the wood.
Oh, awesome! Thanks for the tip! My Nan directed me to the store she used to get her's from, but all around it's $5.20 for the clock face, $4 for the hands, and $12 for the mechanism which is just over $21. Does that sound like the price that yours was? I'll shop around if you got yours cheaper, I just am not sure about the hands + mechanism being that price which is a bit more than expected O__o
