Hey, guys! I know that most of the work posted on here has been requests, or commissions. So, here is some of my personal writing. It is the first chapter in a series that I may or may not continue. I certainly like the world, and the characters. Tell me what you guys think!

You have a pretty solid style and a world a brewing here. The environmental descriptions are very nice. Character description however is weak. Tie description to action and that should help reinforce your character traits. Also the difficulty of anthropomorphic characterization lies in the individual. We as writers tend to repeat wolf man over and over again. Flesh out the traits that distinguish the animal folk and they will come far more fully alive for their audience.
Keep up the good work.

A good start. It seems that wolf fellow was rather keen on pushing the lad into becoming one of them without giving him much of a chance to think it over - will it prove for the better in the long run, or will it cause problems we have yet to gain an inkling of?
Well written, with only a couple of typos. It will be interesting to see where this one goes.
In my experience, it's better to write for yourself and let your audience be self-selecting, than to try to write to what you think people want to read. Some do well enough charging for commissions, but in the end it's in writing what you want to write that your talent as a writer really shines.
Also, I tend to favor .rtf myself, as it gives a writer at least a fair bit of formatting flexibility while minimizing dependence on software applications.
