I present to you the " Battle Of The Gods " , Noble A Wolf & Essence D Dragon.
- Noble A Wolf is an Ice God, ...clad in armor of ice and crystal, and carrying a staff & sword of magical crystal ice.
- Essence D Dragon is a rival god, carrying a sword of Fire & Evil
Both are about to enagage in a battle of fire & Ice in the skys above a stormy canyon.
> Completed the final web version of the piece last night. Here it is cropped down for web view, The master Print TIFF image is 15,000 x 10,259 pixels, and 420 MB in size, and the master print for The commission buyer will be 13 x 19" inches in size.
Over 80 hours of total work over a period of time was placed into this piece, and the details on the master image are very high, the hyroglyph writing on the staff contains micro writing that cannot be seen here.
So far the biggest, most detailed commission i have taken on to date.
All the props in this piece was hand drawn, no photos were used at all, and the only software rendering used was for some of the water effects in the lake at the bottom of the gorge, and some of the rendered textures of the rugged rocks and mountains.
The swords, armor, staff, and all parts of this piece otherwise was done without software rendering other than using the basic tools of photoshop, in my traditional techniques. This is where the many hours were required. :)

OMG! This is absolutely fantastic! Noble looks so badass like that :D The detail and colour depth are astounding, Im very impressed with the work you put into this FS. *hugs* I want a commishy like this now :P

Did you ever think about making animations like this? Think how rich you'd become^^, I'd pay whatever to see a movie with this kind of graphics in in the cinema^^, Think of the awesome story that led up to this particular scene in this picture:) Think of all the cool characters in the movie, the epic battles, all the cool special effects and the magic, and the eye candy:D Even a bad attemt would make Lord of the Rings seem like a crappy movie:p

This pic is entirely epic, Firestorm, epic! It says a lot about your talents and your patience. The total impact of the piece is ... well not like that of the majority of submissions here on FA ... or any other site for that matter. You are incredible and richly deserve all the praise that this piece will bring to you.
I look at this piece and compare it to some of your pencil drawings done years and years ago and see an obvious commitment to improving your art. I can not see anything that will prevent you from being counted among the top artists of Furry within the coming years.

*Smils* thanks for the wonderful comments Lionus. :) Patience is of virtue, and takes alot of it to do pics like this. I still use some of the original techniques i developed from years past, as in the "metal effect" like i first used in the Max on the Bike pic from nearly 8 years ago.
The final print file of this pic has already had some minor adjustments and detail enhancements done not seen here. ( keep your eyes open for the "hidden objects" in this pic. :)
