Invicta is the middle-tier of the three-model line-up Buick introduced in 1959: LeSabre; Invicta; Electra. For this new exciting line-up, Buick developed a new Marque emblem as well: three minimalist-abstract Buick family crests, arranged ascending, framed in an open ring.
And thus, was the storied Buick Tri-Shield born (in 1960).
