I am that friend of the friend! The pouch'll fit anyone. Maybe not Duncan Roo, but I'm sure I'd still try as daft as I am! The combination was sort of an accident. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8976137/ is a doodle that explains it. In all, she did a really neat job and I'm very thankful. in college here. Same boat. No summer job until a one month gig as a casino dealer/supervisor. And even then, most of it's spoken for for paying credit card. (Borrowing money from teh gov't here for school is funny. step 1. You cannot borrow money from us until you're enrolled in school. step 2. you cannot enroll in school until you pay your tuition. step 3. if you pay the 'down payment portion' to yoru school to show you're enrolled, you pay 75 dollars later for the privilege of using the 'down payment system'.
So I just used my Credit Card to hold the balance. They'll charge me 25 bucks to let me pay 'The minimum' so... screw you crooked College in making hundreds of thousands of dollars off this weirdly corrupt scheme.
So, /rant and stuff. I'm 2 of 4 semesters down and then I'll be in a unionized gov't law job. *beam* Protecktin' the peeps from kerrrupshun!

No stranger to college loan screwiness here, I understand that COMPLETELY. I've had to fight tooth and nail for every cent of loan money through my school over the last several years. They recently found a way to block me out entirely, which is why I had to move. Couldn't finish my degree there without financial aid. =P Hopefully this will be my last year, though! I just... have to get the money together to enroll this fall. Which is kinda hard without a job. >_> Thus, job hunt! And that will pan out soon, I'm sure. Or at least, I really hope so. ^^;
