My little lue is getting so big now! owo After I took the last picture she spent the next 5 minutes running all over my torso to keep from being put back in her cage. Jarrick spent most of that trying to get her our of my hair, haha.

Fuck
I'm so jealous of your blood pressure hahahah
I've got a super metabolism so less I fast for like 3 days my blood pressure is fwoomp, and i am super hot and stuffy all the time, and my veins bulge out of the back of my hands, making me feel really squeemish. I get weak when I think of myself bleeding. Once I -am- bleeding its no problem, I take care of it, but just seeing "oh god I'd start squirting" or something makes me so uncomfortable haha with how the hand veiny thing happens
ps cute spider

...How does that not scare you? I mean...I was almost killed by a black widow...so I'm a little...shall we say 'Apprehensive' around spiders...
What kind of spider is she? Cause she looks like a tiny thing when you first had her. Now...she's lookin like a Tarantula

Tarantula's aren't very poisonous. Whenever she takes off super fast it still kinda scares me, both because I don't want to piss her off and I don't want her to fall and get hurt. She's a salmon pink bird eater, btw. They're considered really docile and they typically do not bite. They're like owning a small pit bull. Yes, they can bite and the bite is painful, but it's pretty rare. She hasn't really shown any signs of hostility, but usually if a tarantula is feeling particularly hostile or defensive, they lift up their front set of legs and their pedipalps so they can strike. Before they do that, they will usually lift up they abdomen and brush their back legs on it, which removes the little irritating hairs to sling at whatever they think is the threat.
I see. Well, I thank you, for answering my curiosity. I suppose our past interactions shape our current view. I doubt I'll ever be comfortable around Spiders...though, Scorpions don't bother me, overly. Still, I salute your courage. And I hope she lives for a while and provides you a happy time.
And now for a completely inappropriate response to her species name: BIRD EATING SPIDER?! Dear gods what's next? The Horse nomming nightmare? *shudder*
Wait...if her bite isn't poisonous....how would she be able to eat a bird? Ambush the chicks?

Sometimes she just pops right out of the cage and onto my hand. other times when I'm trying to nudge her onto my hand, she just tightens her legs against her body, and makes a noticeable pause before stepping onto my hand, or just runs around on the acrylic casing because she can tell the difference between hand and safe acrylic housing. She's never reared on me though, so I'm guessing that the handling I do with her makes her feel less threatened.
