A long overdue trade with rat-lightshadow, she asked if I could draw one of a few selected characters she had created. One of which was the Wyvern the Air Dragon, chosen due to the groovy design :)

I had a few mock-up sketches of what I wanted to do for this piece, but in the end I sat down one night and through all the original ideas out of the window. As nowadays, I hate continuing a piece if I'm not satisfied with the preliminaries.

So, here's Wyvern the Air Dragon giving rat-lightshadow a big feathery hug, as she needs them most out of anyone on DA recently.
