She's a bear - I like the idea of her getting pissed off by people going "I thought you'd be a beaver", because of the meta-stereotypical property of Canadians to dislike being stereotyped ;p

Bears seem more appropriate for bustiness, too, I suppose. >_>
Then again, anything you draw seems to end up that way. Lucky for us!
Oh, and.. I don't think anyone likes to be stereotyped, really. If anything, we Canadians dislike being reduced to JUST a copy of Bob & Doug Mackenzie. There are better things to riff on than those old comedy personas.
