I know you said that it wasn't steampunk at all, however, to me, it feels like a futuristic robot trying to imitate steampunk. At least that's what it looks like to me.

It's because any time something has wood and/or brass coloration, it's automatically steampunk. That, and people have started associating anything victorian as steampunk, too. I won't argue that it looks like it could be steampunk, but it wasn't intended.

No, I understand that, and I understand the association mistakes people have made. Believe me, while I am a steampunk fan, I do know the difference between victorian era stuff, and steampunk. I just said that it resembled it, but it could also be a victorian era piece as well.

No matter how you intended the piece to look, we can all agree that it looks really bad-ass, and deserves praise. ^^

Well thank you, and thanks for not being one of those steampunk guys who MLP everything they see lol. MLP as in my little pony fans, how they associate everything with MLP no matter how far from MLP it may be XD

lol No worries, I hate those kinds of fans myself. xD I feel that, if you're going to be in the fandom of something, you should know full well what it is that you're appreciating, and not just liking everything that MIGHT resemble it *Cough-MLP-cough*. I do appreciate steampunk, however, I also know that it's DERIVED from the Victorian era, so I naturally think of the Victorian era first, then steampunk second.
